The Software Engineering Department (SED) of Comtrade Computers offers custom built software solutions to meet the unique set of requirements that are specific to each client that we serve. Our innovative approach to offering software solutions relies on the latest technologies that are delivered by a team of engineers continuously working to further advance in their field.

• Web-based Application Design and Development
We design, develop, deploy and support web-based applications ranging from: Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Knowledge Management Systems (KMS), e-Commerce Solutions, and many more based on the requirements of our clients. Our web-based applications are built on the following leading technologies: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Java Applets, HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and Dynamic HTML (DHTML), Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Document Object Model (DOM), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

• Network Application Design and Development
We design and develop network applications that range from light-weight server applications that work on a multi-threaded technology to more heavy-weight server applications that rely on an advanced level of memory management, Inter-Process Communication (IPC), and other technologies in order to offer a continuous supply of data to clients. Our network applications are built by using GNU C/C++, Assembly, BASH/Shell Scripting on GNU/Linux systems.

• Database Design and Integration
Our software solutions are backed by databases designed with a focus on speed and stability for the long-term performance. we use the following technologies: Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), Microsoft Jet Database Engine. We also oversee the migration process between different database systems, as well as the support during and after the integration.

• Application Design and Development
We design and develop applications to meet our user needs. We know that these applications are subject to use by a wide range of users, thus the principles of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) are a core property of our applications. Our applications fulfill the needs for financial and accounting operations, Point-of-Sale (PoS) operations, stock management, billing, and other needs upon the request of the client. Our applications are built, deployed and supported on the following technologies Java, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsot Visual Basic .NET.
